A Reverie

Sitting speechless inside that spacious room,
my eyes lingered on her exquisite face,
I dreamed with my fancy in overdrive
and soon rest of the world was duly forgotten…
Like the swollen clouds of thunder and rain,
that become sanctified and white again
once the pent-up weight inside has been shed,
I too woke up from the reverie, when she had gone to bed.
