[For Sabrina,
a friend who knows
and understands!]

Would she love me or perhaps she would not!
I can sense the end of sanity larking close
but how to overcome the urge of being
truly one with the scattered pieces of my soul?

Of course I could have chosen oblivion,
shrouding both my pleasures and pains for a while
 in a transitory forgetfulness,
induced by a hormone, increasing in my blood!

And that would have been temporary too,
whereas death is permanent, being an one way route
but do we know what pain and agony
await us on the other side? Now, that is why
we must endure the slings and arrows of the world
and keep on hoping for the best, no matter what!
