It is not solitude that I have in my soul,
when my love is so far away from me,
it is more like an emptiness that has never
bathed in the rays of the sun, nor ever
been exposed to the vital sweetness of the wind –
unlike solitude, more fertile than what I have inside!

Yes, I knew the abode of my love was within
the crimson walls of my heart, closer than
the vein that brought freshened blood for my fancy thoughts,
but still through decadence I just forgot
the way my soul could be one again with my love,
exactly like they both were many billion years ago,
perhaps before the flow of time began or time was born!
Come my love and remind me the way that will take me home!
