Guilt, piling up on guilt from yesterdays
has made the mound grow larger than my life,
for things I should have done and things I should
never have, the words I said so far and
the words I ought to have said but failed to!
Who knows, if salvation is on its way?
Who knows, if it will ever come or not?
While silence of the night assures me,
hint of the sun repels the warmth away
and I am torn asunder in between!
The certainty of redemption at one
and cruel rejection at the other end
of a scale, I wonder which way it’s going to tip!
Soon you’ll know, for either I’ll die or fall asleep.

We all carry some guilt wether real or imagined it’s wether we admit to it 🙂
