Schizophrenia

Schizophrenia

A part of me says to my human ears,
“I wonder how she grows prettier everyday!
Seems so implausible, I know but perhaps
a beholder’s perception can evolve to be
more sensitive to her human beauty!”

Then, waking up, the rest screams at my godly soul,
“I’d have been selfish tonight, if I had the means;
none the options I have in my hand seems
good enough for a timid man like me!”,
in the background the earlier voice drowns in the scream.

In the end, yet another existence
appears out of nowhere to steal the scene
forcing me to resign to fitful bouts of sleep.

I wake up at first light with no memories of the dream…

The Voices in My Head

The Voices in My Head

These voices that scream and whisper
in my head, perpetual, even
in my dreams they keep persisting
like entropies around the edge
of the cosmos, are driving me insane!

Each of them is as different
as human thoughts can be, while some
in mellow whispers sing of love,
others are more inclined to scream
in rage against a perceived injustice!

Then I heard that conscience has a voice too,
praising good deeds, from a biased perception,
with loud words and mildly admonishing
my evil deeds, which I had never meant to do!

The Origin of Time and Space

Before the origin of time and space,
before the spreading of the universe began,
the grandest scheme of creation was conceived
by the Existence, beyond our trivial perception.

In fact, if we can perceive anything
untainted from subjective inference remains,
in our thoughts, still an issue, unresolved,
with explanations both in favor and against.

Some have claimed that humans are nothing but
the vectors of what their senses have felt so far
while others have called life an illusion
and human beings, mere puppets in the Creator’s whims.

Living in the grand world of time and space,
thinking in a language restrained by them as well,
can we ever perceive their origin?
Can a buried corpse behold the shape of its marble tomb?
